hey guys,

i work for cmi and was suprised too see this little gem been unloaded off a tow truck. it's on display in our showroom!

oh yeah it does drive but not well. has no brakes and doesn't idel. i don't think it has the race engine in it, looks like a stock 3K but it definitely is a ex Bathurst race car it's owned by Toyota Australia

As you see, they were basically standard cars.

 

Interestingly, when you read the article in that post, they keep going on about problems with pre-ignition, harshness of ride and so on, so you have to wonder how standard they were.

 

I hope this gets exhibited in Melbourne. As usual, bloody Adelaide get everything....

Think it used to be displayed at the museum at Bathurst.

 

Yeh kiddies, back in the day, Bathurst racers were meant to be showroom stock, although there seemed to be some interesting interpretations of "stock".........

Yeh new uniform has been stuck in customs from china for the last 2 or so weeks, i saw a example of what they look like 3 months ago should be good i might try and get buff for the catwalk display :)
