ok so been busy lately connecting engine bay up.

Did battery in boot conversion, solved my alternator woes, connected up all wires in engine bay, routed hearer hoses etc etc etc

So chucked battery in and away we went trying to start it.

Didn't start...

leads seem to be correct, aligned dizzy with 1# TDC so not sure whats going on, still might not be right?

stuff coming out the carby indicates leads wrong way around? Ive put them 1-3-4-2 just like the book says...

inside of carby is covered in what seems to be black oil/water not sure...

Check this video to see what I mean:

and a pic of my new exhaust lol nothing special just 1.75" all way through

Front end is looking like this, waiting to replace front hub bearings.

Tried to see if KE25 4X110 hubs would fit AE86 strut stub axle, very very close to fitting but few mm difference in rotor bolt pattern, hub length and bearing size...

hey tally lookin great so are you using the ae86 struts on standard 25 lower arms if so do they bolt straight up or do you have to modify them at all

cheers graeme

Using AE86 powersteering arms with a balljoint adapter from techno toy tuning so it fits snug over the stock KE25 balljoint.

KE25 have narrower strut bolt spacing, used KE25 top hat and ae86 struts bolt in.

Hey Tally. I have some AE86 grease caps on order from Japan at the moment. Was only one in Australia and I needed 4.

$7.60 each trade, $9.17 retail.

I saw you were looking for them 'elsewhere'.

I tried getting some for the KE15 too. No go. might need to measure them up and look at generic repco ones.

How much longer till she hits the road do you reckon?

Main stuff

need to put rear window in which is proving to be a pain

get exhaust welded up with flange to manifold

and just a few minor things....

car still hasn't been rubbed back and buffed....

Got rear window in earlier today, wasn't easy I can tell you that.
