Johno Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 (edited) Hey there, I'm chucking a 4age bigport in my ae82 sedan. I have 3/4 of the twinky loom. I have the engine loom that connects to the ECU, I have the complete dash loom From Passenger kick panel to drivers kick panel and the ECU. The engine loom hooks up to the passenger kick panel, the ECU and the fuse box next to the battery. My question is... Is there any difference between a 4ac wire loom and a 4age loom from the fuse box next to the battery that runs underneath the radiator support bar and goes up into the drivers kick panel fuse box? I don't mind getting one from the wreckers but its pointless if they are both the same. Thanks in advance Edited February 20, 2010 by Johno Quote
Kebin[RL] Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 can't confirm but a safe bet would be the 4ac loom wont have any of the efi circuits in it. Quote
parrot Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 I wouldn't be too sure about that. May well contain some of the idle ups at the very least. If I was you, I would get it if you can. Pretty sure you will find the two looms bear no relation to each other. Not the same car obviously, but AE86 4AGE vs 4AC are totally different Quote
webers4x48 Posted February 20, 2010 Report Posted February 20, 2010 I should be able to help you out with that. If its any help I have a complete engine loom from an AE82 Bigport :) Quote

webers4x48 Posted February 22, 2010 Report Posted February 22, 2010 (edited) No dramas. The weekend of the 6th & 7th of March I'm unavailable but any weekend after that I'm all good. Might be able to this weekend but give me call towards the end of the week if that's the case Edited February 22, 2010 by webers4x48 Quote
