twentyEight Posted February 16, 2010 Author Report Posted February 16, 2010 I am so happy with the condition of this car, and it has been well looked after. It has done a genuine 95,000 miles (with service book history) and only has a small amount of rust in the lower part if the front left guard. It will be hard not to turn this into a TE27 with a 2T-G/3T hybrid, but I will try and keep it exactly as you see it. Quote
Chobis Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Nicole is HOT !!! Love the colour. Love the originality. Love that she is an auto. What state are you in? Also......... whats the go with that little Japanese Mustang in your avatar pic? Is that yours? If so I think you need to do a thread on it for us with some pics. Quote
ke20rolla Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 (edited) Oh my god that is absolutely overrated. :bash: :bash: :laff: :laff: :laff: Leave this ke25 the way it is, :) do not lower it, put guard mirrors on it, or mags on it or change the mechanicals, it would be worth a lot more in it's factory original condition. :bash: The only things I would do, is put some narrow band whitewall tyres on it and a rear venetian blind, other then that don't mess with it. :P Love these 70's colours aswell, great find. ;) Edited February 16, 2010 by ke20rolla Quote
Chobis Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 The only things I would do, is put some narrow band whitewall tyres on it and a rear venetian blind, other then that don't mess with it. :) I totally agree. I would not even lower this car as ke20rolla says. Ridin' high seems to suit it. Quote
nickyboy Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 helll yesss. such a clean car. keep it looking schmick. where you located? Quote
LukeAE71 Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 If this was for sale dudes would be breaking each other's necks to get in the front of the line :P Seriously awesome :bash: Oh yeah and if you want to sell it PM ME FIRST OK :bash: :) Quote
Chobis Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Luke has first option on a broken neck too then. :) Yeh I'd be keen on this little car to join my collection. Quote
RA28GT Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Awesome man! Original stainless crimped exhaust FTW! Quote
Gavclassic Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 NICE!!, was that the one on Ebay a couple of weeks back?. Quote
twentyEight Posted February 16, 2010 Author Report Posted February 16, 2010 (edited) What state are you in? Also......... whats the go with that little Japanese Mustang in your avatar pic? Is that yours? If so I think you need to do a thread on it for us with some pics. In Vic. The RA28 in my avatar is my '77 RA28 Celica that's currently getting a Gen III 3S-GTE matched to a Garrett GT3076R, and has an S13 Coilover Suspension setup with R32 Skyline Brakes, Hilux Diff, etc... I have a thread on Toymods if you're a member over there, there has been alot of work go into it, and still a hell of alot more to come... :laff: Oh my god that is absolutely overrated. ;) :o :o :o :o Leave this ke25 the way it is, :bash: do not lower it, put guard mirrors on it, or mags on it or change the mechanicals, it would be worth a lot more in it's factory original condition. :laff: The only things I would do, is put some narrow band whitewall tyres on it and a rear venetian blind, other then that don't mess with it. :laff: Love these 70's colours aswell, great find. ;) I've just put some Lovells Superlow Springs in the front, but it hasn't dropped much at all and sits exactly the same as the rear at this stage. It will be getting Whitewalls, Venetians, and possibly a Mesh ('Grandpa') Visor for the front. (Still undecided for the front visor, but after seeing pics of nickyboy's Orange KE20 I'm starting to sway more towards it.) If this was for sale dudes would be breaking each other's necks to get in the front of the line :P Seriously awesome :bash: Oh yeah and if you want to sell it PM ME FIRST OK :bash: :) This was for sale a about 3 weeks ago... ;) Awesome man! Original stainless crimped exhaust FTW! Cheers, I do like the original exhaust myself. NICE!!, was that the one on Ebay a couple of weeks back?. Yep. I hit the Buy It now and drove up to Newcastle from Melbourne that same night and trailered it back the very next day! (Left Melb at 10pm Friday, got there at 9am Sat and was back home in Melb at 8pm Saturday night. :o) Edited February 16, 2010 by twentyEight Quote
Jason KE30 Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 Wow! This thing is in absolutely pristine condition. I totally agree with everyone else, leave it exactly how it is with maybe some whitewalls and hubbies, but that's as far as you need to go. Lovin it :) Quote
PHATKE20S Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 :) OMFG that is as close to overrated as ive ever seen :fuzz: I would not modify this beyond Whitewalls and Venetian.......... Sounds like your RA28 will go fast enough to compensate for the Toyoglide's power...LOL Keep the pics rolling mate :y: Quote
philbey Posted February 16, 2010 Report Posted February 16, 2010 This, from what I can see, might even be considered overrated. Only if you vacuum the drivers side carpet though. Awesome find. Good work. Quote
Doogs Posted February 17, 2010 Report Posted February 17, 2010 Beautiful 25, nice score mate. :) Would love to cruise with this in the future. Quote
