i just went for a cruise through lonsdale and found this dirt track to slide around even in a FWD its fun lol

Then you go and post up how you just went out and found some public land to slide around on.

i think you might of quoted the wrong person, but yeah that road. If your into semi legal off roading theres a nice little spot near Hahndorf, see if this works

Oh and after reading SLO's last post, nothings going to change with or without these instructions. If they said we'll shoot you on site for accelarating at a certain rate, people would still drive like knobs. So long as its safe you might as well help people out

its the same for trail bike riders you can't ride any wear and they don't want to make a place.

 

 

i blam the stupid greens party.

 

 

they stoped the south coast nats burnout comp last year.

 

and there was gonna be a dirt bike track built over some land fill completely safe they said no because on a very windy day a person 5km away might hear it.

 

i don't get the whole sound thing a harley is louder then most cars and you can't have your car drive past some one thats loud, but i can run my lawn mower all day every day and thats ok.

There is no excuse for needing to do any of this crap on the street. Your car was made to drive on the road under normal conditions, so use it as it was intended. If you are in fact hardcore enough to own something that needs to go to a track then Mallala is out there waiting for you :bash:

Guys, here`s a bit of a history lesson for you all.

Way back when America decided to ban the consumption of all alcohol, a bunch of "rednecks" used to run illicit booze called moonshine, thru the back roads of America at ridiculous speeds. A lot of these drivers were pretty shit hot and decided to have a contest to see who was the best. And so Stock car racing was born. That has carried on to be one of the biggest crowd pleasers in the world.(Indy 500 etc and V8`s in Oz and not to forget speedway) Correct?????

 

Again, in America and all parts of the world where cars were sold, youg hoodlums like you and me used to hot `em up and see who was the fastest. When a whole bunch of people got killed enjoying this passtime, so came the birth of legal Drag Racing at legitimate tracks. Again one of the hugest crowd attractors in the world. Correct?????

 

Rallying, drifting, burnouts, hill climbs, club racing, same same. Correct?????

 

Now I ask the question. Why, when all of these sports have legitimate venues do youg blokes have to show off doing absolutely stupid shit so they can be heroes in front of their equally cranially challenged mates.?????

Just take a look at the nightly news guys and see how many people are killed each week, or what is worse, maimed for life.

Just wake up guys, ending up a vegie for the rest of your life will not make you a hero in anyone`s eyes.
