its now apparent that police can crush cars for doing burnouts and skids, but in my opinion its mainly done on the street because we dnt have a place to do it legally, i think they should make a place thats open all the time and has no entry fee to do the stuff that we like to do, what is everyones thought on this new law ?

Ive heard in Norway hoons would go to a abandon air field and do skids till there tyres will blow

police don't bother them

no children to be worried about hitting

not afraid of getting busted

Well, its because people will insist on voting in Socialist Govts! So you get Socialism, which is a lot of rules on how they will make you behave in society.

If you voted in Libertarian Govts then you would need a victim to have a crime. If there is no victim to stand up in Court and accuse you, then no crime was committed.

It won't stop here, you only have to read "1984" or "Harrison Bergaron" to see how bad it will get before people (hopefully) revolt and tear the society apart. Next it will be crushing cars for speeding...

And what happens if you come across a cop that's having a bad day, it does happen cars just pulled over and defected....but then again why do people act like shit heads on suburban roads, and why do burnouts they don't achieve anything. Go out on the freeway for 10 minutes and turn onto a country road and go hard. I agree with you, we do need a place where we can go, but you won't get it for free. Think of the insurance cost, in Rovers (older scouts) we have a "sandblast" which is like a cheap mans rally and there are so many rules to deal with insurance.

Just come up to caloundra in QLD there is a 20 acre 63 million dollar industrial park with double wide roads and mountable kerbs and its sitting there empty in the middle of nowhere. Its freakin massive.

^^ One simple answer to that - Road rules apply.

A councillor on the sunny coast a few years back tried pushing for an area that could be closed off to the public for the local "hoons" to go and pull skids, race etc etc. What killed it was the general public, they wanted the "hoons" off the streets but they didn't want them to do in safety.

Mind you the cops liked the idea of getting the "hoons" off the streets.
