Chillin Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 Better than bare, but still not as good as paint IMO. Have you something in mind to stop the rust or are you just going to let it mellow? Quote
SLO-030 Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 When it rains whilst driving, wouldn't rusty water go everywhere? Quote
agius Posted November 22, 2011 Author Report Posted November 22, 2011 ill let it mellow out till it becomes the colour and consistency that i like then ill chuck a clear coat ontop and see how it goes nah normal colourd water just rolls of the guard :) Quote
blktoy35 Posted November 22, 2011 Report Posted November 22, 2011 blend in better if the whole side had the rust patina... :hmm: don't do it thou! Quote

Crowie55 Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 You're going to melt and wreck your chrome bar with those tips! and your car will constantly have black shit all over the back. Thumbs down from me 1 Quote
Doogs Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 Tips look cool, nice different touch! I'd be surprised if the bar melted... Quote

Thumbs down from me +1 for the carbon coat over everything. My KE30 had a straight out tip directly under the bumper. Paint on the rear LH Corner was always darker because of it. Quote
Crowie55 Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 I'd be surprised if the bar melted... Happened to my brothers ke55, melted the chrome plating and started rusting the bar within a couple of months. Quote
bAKER Posted December 1, 2011 Report Posted December 1, 2011 It looks cool. Expect black up the back of the car though, clean it off every second day, haha. Quote
