Bamboo Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 (edited) umm Centre Road, is in Centre Road. Clayton/Springvale. It's about 5 minutes from my place. Evan G tends to pop in when he gets motivated to do a centre road trip. There is a sweet ke55 round light grill there at the moment. Gotta be quick. This may be argued, but the most RWD 'rollas pass through here. I get the bonus of livin' so close. Boo Edited November 17, 2010 by Bamboo Quote

Boo Not neccessarily relevant to the thread but regards Centre Road wreckers,I think so many older cars pass through there is because that is where a lot of insurance companies sell of their wrecks too!I just had a 92 Magna written of and the assessor rang Centre Road wreckers for a value when he was organising the payout figures. KEhendo Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 (edited) is the plan to try and fix what is there or just cut off the front end and weld on another? personally i wouldn't be using a shell that has had this much damage. why aren't you just re-shelling into the green car you got? Edited November 29, 2010 by KEhendo Quote
SLO-030 Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 Id be having the panel shop giving it a thorough inspection underneath, around the floor where the rails join and the fire wall  Quote

Can't wait to see this Beast going again Aaron. :) In Technical Terms, you do need an Engineering Certificate for the 5K, being 300cc's larger than the Original 3K. The Owner's Grandma before us opted for the 5K when Toyota started offering them, and didn't need a Certificate for it. But these days, VicRoads can be absolute Dogs. Keep it up man. :y: Josh  Quote
Evan G Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 (edited) but theres 78 7k rolla carolling around with a 7k in his ke30 and didnt need SWAT! they just thought it was the same engine edit - so what there saying is if i got a 289 and i stroke it to 302 i need a engineers? WTF! Edited November 29, 2010 by Evan G Quote
agius Posted November 29, 2010 Author Report Posted November 29, 2010 ill drive a train through vic roads window there is no way while I'm still alive i will pay for an engineers certificate for a single cam slant 1496cc motor that was 20 years backwards for its age Quote
blktoy35 Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 lmao yeh unlucky they picked up on the engine conversion .... its f*** all difference .... Quote
silverra23 Posted November 29, 2010 Report Posted November 29, 2010 Good attitude son... it will get you far with the authorities...and your insurance company..... So what happens if you have another crash in your unengineered corolla and kill someone? The insurance company will walk away and tell you to pay the bills yourself. What then? Quote
