Twitch Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 32_36DGV.pdf Hi all, I recently bought a second hand 32-36 DGV weber. The weber came partially re-kitted and I needed to put the rest together, so.....I thought it best to put it in with a carbi specialist. He looked over it and said that it was in good condition overall but the 2 venturi's were stuffed. He mentioned that as the venturi's tend to wear the housing that they sit in, they don't normally stock spare parts for the venturi's and I would need to buy a new weber. Can anyone please tell me whether this is true? I have rung around and had some difficulty even finding someone who can get them let alone someone who knows if they are even available. I have attached a copy of what I believe is the weber with the diagram and parts breakdown. Any thoughts? Quote

Are you sure he didnt mean the throttle shafts and bushes? Quote

toyota_ae71 Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 Yeah they do have lose venturi's. This sounds really homebrand and hillbilly spec, but mine were also fairly lose. So i just got some lock tight out and put a tiny bit around the housing bits they sit in. Venturi's are now nice and tight :) Quote
Felix Posted February 9, 2010 Report Posted February 9, 2010 You guys are talking about auxillary venturis, Metal epoxy them in place. Quote
