Nitephyre Posted July 11, 2005 Report Posted July 11, 2005 http://www.californiacaterhamclub.com/chat...topic.php?t=346 check this out O M F G it's niiice :D Quote
demuire Posted July 11, 2005 Report Posted July 11, 2005 The guy who did my front struts and my diff is building something very similar to that... including the workmanship. And the carbon fibre. Except he's using a 20v 4AGE. But yes, OMFG, that is just BEAUTIFUL stuff. Quote
ancullen Posted July 11, 2005 Report Posted July 11, 2005 That car looks AWESOME. And very appropriate to have a nickel-coated Caterham, as the Caterham 21 show car was brushed aluminium, resulting in a similar look. I just can't get over this guy. He custom designed an IRS setup, and has brakes from a F1 car!!! Plus the Cosworth motor will make that thing hammer. And he's even got two sweet looking Mini's!!! Lucky rich bastard! And after seeing that Mini Van, I'm SOO tempted to buy one I know is for sale up here. Now that'd be a wicked parts van! Quote
Jero Posted July 11, 2005 Report Posted July 11, 2005 The Mini's! THE MINI'S! Oh god how I would love a mini. I'd use it as my daily driver and just pour money into my Corolla. My love for small cars is great. Quote
ancullen Posted July 11, 2005 Report Posted July 11, 2005 Either a Mini Van or a Morris Minor Van would rock for a parts van! Plus there's a fair bit you can do to them to give them a bit of cred! Quote
NickZ Posted July 11, 2005 Report Posted July 11, 2005 WOW..i like it. I want one. There is a guy here in tassie that has oe with a 4AGZE in it, Goes very well :D Quote
demuire Posted July 11, 2005 Report Posted July 11, 2005 The guy obviously has more money than God, but it's a shame (given the equipment he has in it) that he probably won't drive it much, or drive it hard. It's a really nice piece of work though :D Quote
Super Jamie Posted July 11, 2005 Report Posted July 11, 2005 i may know where a cheap mini panelvan is if you really want it having worked on both roundnoses and clubmans, i would never own a mini myself, they just suck to turn spanners on, and everything for them is SO expensive Quote
kangaroosa Posted July 12, 2005 Report Posted July 12, 2005 Cha Ching $$$ Not sure that i would want to drive it on the road anyway. 400mm-500mm max of car between me and the person rear ending me. Quote
Corolla_Kid Posted July 12, 2005 Report Posted July 12, 2005 That car is awesome but your right he would have poured plenty of money into it. look at how clean his workshop is. Sure beats the hell out of my dusty area under the house. Quote

Plus I've got to find a buyer for the Galant first. And a Morris Minor van would be a bit better as it's RWD, and they look cooler. Plus check out the specs on the van pictured above. Did a 17-second quarter (that's quicker than my Galant!!!). Specs Quote
