Seriously looking at the K50 'box swap, sick of the 4spd (sit at 100k's an hr and it rev's its ring out).

 

Pretty sure the diff is slowly dying, starting to whine. Could just be road noise from the crappy rear tyres thou.

 

Need to hunt down a radiator, this one has just about had it. Not sure what other options I have in terms of upgrading, I've heard that Hyundai Excel radiators go well, just need to change the mounts?

 

I'm on the urgent hunt for both drivers side window regulators too, the larger cog on both drivers side doors has chewed teeth - rear window is held up with packing tape!

windows that break suck, my power window reg has a snapped wire so its held up with wood and zipties lolz. can't go thru drive thru or anything it sucks ass! if i want the window down i have to look like a dick with the passengers side one down!

Yeh broken regulators suck, my drivers one was broken when i bought my ke70.. every time you closed the door the window went down lol

Thanks for the replies guys :) Looks like I've found some decent window reg's thru a mate who I didn't even think to ask, so windows will be fixed very shortly :cool: :yes:

Had the timing reset tonight as it was very very retarded, running a couple of degrees advanced, runs ALOT smoother and has a little bit of something called power now :) Have a small list of things to get sorted over the next few weeks too. Gotta get carby sorted first thou, massive flat spot down low until secondaries open up.

 

Does anyone know of any easy bolt-on upgrades as far as carbies go?

 

Also picked up a V6 Commodore thermo fan, going to see how I can rig it up with a temp sensor and all other assoc. bits, then piss the clutch fan off which is stuffed anyway. Doesn't bother me if the fan is zip-tied on, so long as it's secure and does the job I'm happy :D

Well I didn't have this sucker long...

 

Sold it yesterday, need $$ for my overseas holiday, but will look at purchasing another KE** when I get back, wouldn't mind a 30-series wagon :)

Did u end up changer the window reg man?

Mines pretty rooted
