Ke36 P/van New Daily Driver

my ke36 p/van bought this off jip about a month ago and is nearly ready for rego, have had the whole thing apart, complete new front end bushes, ball joints, tie rods, pitman, idler, shocks, springs, brakes and so on. also had to replace the front lower radiator support as it was in very bad shape, here are some pics

Do you plan to put any different wheels on once it's rego'd? Needs BIG SHINY CHROME things with lots of dish

Looking good. I got a soft spot for wagons and panno's.

 

Just one thing, the pin stripe would look a bit better if it followed the body line up,around and fade into the rear windows.

 

Other than that, wicked job.

no these wheels are staying, white walls will be done soon

yeh i think I'm going to change the pin striping like you said i have about 90metres of it so going to do a couple of ways and see what looks best

no name for it, as for motor is a 4k with 4 speed, i was thinking about doing a blow through turbo set up but to many other toys think i should keep one standard

Looking great there buddy. There are new reproduction pull handles available on ebay if you look hard enough.

 

All up she is looking way better. Love the inside of the back man.

i ended up painting a pin stripe on as the stick on pinstriping didnt really want to stick the the matt paint, also got a bonnet and tail gate off jip so hopefully have them painted in the next few days, then just got to pop the front windscreen out and replace the rubber because it leaks badly

couldnt help myself and it was just begging for boost, so now has 32/36 weber and have made the hat for the top of it. fuel system will get done this weekend then hopefully turbo on in the next few weeks

Blow through will usually need the carby completely boxed in, unless it is a forced intended carby?

 

Or are webbers exempt?
