Hey guys, recently got myself a 32/32 Weber

Sprints can order in an adaptor plate for a 33/26 weber, and by looking at the picture of the plate in their book it looks to be the same one which i will require for my 32/32.

Can anyone either confirm or deny this??

Thanks guys

used the 32/36 adapter for a 38/38, and no dfferences, all the same.. get it ordered and slap her on

Whoa! You run a 38/38 on your corolla? Hows the fuel economy?!

32/32 is about the perfect sized weber IMO so you should be very happy with it ke71-rolla.

Does your 32/32 look very similar to this one?.....

Mine have been of Fiat 128's BTW.

If so you have 2x options to fit it on a K series manifold as they ARE DIFFERENT bolt flanges to a 32/36.

1, Get the 32/36 adapter plate. Bolt it onto the K series mani as per normal. Then after sitting the carby on top of it you'll notice that (motor side) 2x bolts don't line up. They'll be right on the edge of the carby. Cut the holes into open slots and the carb will then fit on. Make sure to use a couple of decent sized washers to hold it down as 1/4 of the bolt will hang over the carby. I have done this on "Dirt" and can take a picture of it for you if you want?

2, Little bit bush mechanic, but still works fine. This was done to the above pictured carb which was later boosted and still loved it. Anyway, sit the carb on top of the manifold (with no adapter plate) and you notice that the stock asian bolt pattern is VERY close to the weber one. You then need to grind out the bolt holes (ideally with a sideways cutting drill bit) on the weber outwards about 10mm each and it'll then actually fit straight on the stock manifold.

Here's a panit picture I did a while ago for somebody else. Shows how close the K and 32/32 (fiat) weber bolts are and also how the 32/36 (cortina etc) bolts will come out right on the edge of the 32/32 carb.

Knowing the model number which is usually always stamped on the base of every weber would make it a lot easier to source an adapter plate.

If they are DGV's use a 32/36 DGV adapter plate which is easy to find.

When sourcing my adaptor plate i dropped into my local Sprints, they pretty much couldnt be bothered helping so sent me to their wholesaler.

From there i sat down with the owner and had a flick through their Redline Adaptor Plate book of mysteries.

Yeah irokin, i've been waiting around for a 32/32 Weber for a while, can't WAIT to get it fitted!!!

Yes it was a 32/36 DGV adaptor plate, and mine is also a 32/32 DGV

Thanks for the pic and description Taz, but unfortunately my Weber is a tad different to that, but good for future reference!!

So it should look identical to the one I pictured above. And I think they're actually called a DMTR-A
