Trev Posted July 26, 2010 Report Posted July 26, 2010 Yup, but I use Streeter... Importmonster's system is the best, but expensive. I am meaning anyone that is a regular member that 'buys' off yahoo not buys through other people. Quote
7shades Posted July 26, 2010 Report Posted July 26, 2010 Well you can't, unless you're a Japanese resident. Which is why people use Jesse, cos he's pretty much the only Aussie in Japan providing the service. Quote
Trev Posted July 26, 2010 Report Posted July 26, 2010 Ok, I thought it was similar to ebay, never knew you had to buy it in the country. Quote
benzo Posted July 26, 2010 Report Posted July 26, 2010 I've always used Jesse Streeter, wouldn't use anyone else. Quote
toyota_ae71 Posted July 26, 2010 Report Posted July 26, 2010 My mate has dealed with him a fair few times, been awesome everytime! Although his prices are starting to rise, but his still easily the cheapest around. Quote
Trev Posted July 26, 2010 Report Posted July 26, 2010 Have emailed him and got a reply, just keeping my options open for my bike. You guys think it is hard to find and dear to get parts for an import car, try getting them for an import bike that is 20 years old. Quote
parrot Posted July 26, 2010 Report Posted July 26, 2010 Ha! Try finding new parts for a car that is 41 years old! Oh, hang on, I just did, 1 minute ago!! Seriously though, I swear by importmonster and am a regular buyer through them. Service is fantastic and they provide an easily searchable yahoo listing. I can bid in realtime just like on ebay, find items I would never find anywhere else, and know it will arrive safely either by EMS or container. Yes it is more expensive, but I don't mind paying for the service and peace of mind. My understanding is that to join yahoo auctions, you need to have an address and bank account in Japan. Quote
