Duckman Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Hi, Just wondering if anyone knows off of the top of their head what type o' thread the oil pressure switch on a 5K uses? Can't find my thread gauge...its not with my taps :D Thanks in advance! Quote
altezzaclub Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Aren't they usually BSPT. All those fine-thread fitting like that one, the brake vacuum line, the vacuum temperature sensor I thought were all old British plumbing threads. Quote
Medicine_Man Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Would believe it would be 1/8 gas Quote
philbey Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 Which I think is the same as a 1/8 BSP anyway? Quote
SLO-030 Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 1/8 NPT springs to mind. There is something else, real close too but it is 1 TPI out. Quote
philbey Posted January 20, 2010 Report Posted January 20, 2010 yeh, NPT ususally runs different TPI, although in some particular sizes I think they are the same. It's a BSP basically, I'm not sure where the GAS comes from. Quote
