Taz_Rx Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 There's some sort of import rule for bringing cars over from NZ where if you've own it over there for atleast 12 months then you can get it shipped over here. Quote
rollagt Posted January 18, 2010 Author Report Posted January 18, 2010 sweet , i have owned it ten years now Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 sweet , i have owned it ten years now I once looked into bringing a car over from NZ. I lost interest when I saw it would be well over 2 grand to do it. Then factor in how hard parts are to get here for these rare models, and thats why i don't drive a starlet. :D Sounds like a better idea for you, however, you own the car, have mates there probably who might send you over panels and stuff, and I'm sure the running gear can be found here. Its just the cost of getting it here and otr that will be your expenses. If I were you Id stuff it full of parts before you ship it over, panels, lights, whatever you might need. Save you a lot of money in the long run. :D Quote
Crostek Posted January 19, 2010 Report Posted January 19, 2010 (edited) ^^^ what he said cost you the same if the container is full or half full to ship it across Edited January 19, 2010 by Crostek Quote

You could pack LRS's starlet into the 'ace (sideways maybe) and then he can pay half your shipping costs!!! hehe Quote
