want to ship my te71hardtop gt over from new zealand , does anyone know of any problems i will run into to ship it over. as my brother who said he will look after it has just left it where i parked it two years ago. or can you pick them up here.post-10129-1263811493.jpg

There's some sort of import rule for bringing cars over from NZ where if you've own it over there for atleast 12 months then you can get it shipped over here.

I once looked into bringing a car over from NZ. I lost interest when I saw it would be well over 2 grand to do it. Then factor in how hard parts are to get here for these rare models, and thats why i don't drive a starlet. :D

 

Sounds like a better idea for you, however, you own the car, have mates there probably who might send you over panels and stuff, and I'm sure the running gear can be found here. Its just the cost of getting it here and otr that will be your expenses.

 

If I were you Id stuff it full of parts before you ship it over, panels, lights, whatever you might need. Save you a lot of money in the long run. :D

Shame its not a hiace you want to ship over. You could pack LRS's starlet into the 'ace (sideways maybe) and then he can pay half your shipping costs!!! hehe

man ,starlets. the things i have seen people do to old corollas makes me want to bring back the death penelty. my cuzin over there blow his 4k , then got drunk and put a axe in the roof :D then cryed the next day
