huwtraws Posted January 13, 2010 Author Report Posted January 13, 2010 not positive but a machiner should be able to machine it out? why are you after 43mm any way? A friend of mine has some steel ones, and has offered them for me to buy, but he's not sure if the 3k and 4k con rods are different Quote
KENut Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 oh unlucky then. do you know if the 2k and 3k big end is 43mm then? Not sure, I imagine they would be the same as 4K. Why? Did your mate measure them as 43mm? Because 42mm is including bearing, or actual crankpin size if you like Quote

tojo2 Posted January 14, 2010 Report Posted January 14, 2010 I'm guessing here but think hes got some CAT forged rods then. They state in their catalog the rods are for 3k-4k but measurements are wrong. My guess is they`re for 4e. http://www.catpep.com/searchengine/searche...amp;parttype=43 Seen them advertised on ebay as 3k-4k rods as well  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/TOYOTA1-2-1...sQ5fAccessories Quote
