greenmac80 Posted August 6, 2011 Author Report Posted August 6, 2011 next is spare wheel well... cut this trace it onto this and i jst use about 30 stainless rivets plenty strong will be bracing it through the top support a false floor to hide ALL wiring. and old stereo... downsizing quite abit and making much much neater.. greenmac80 Posted August 6, 2011 Author Report Posted August 6, 2011 next is my rear water outlet stock thermostat still being used. awesomeness. Quote
greenmac80 Posted August 6, 2011 Author Report Posted August 6, 2011 now onto my console.. i've mounted guage pipe in it angled up and pointing towards the driver. also plated a bottom poscket out to allow for 4 power window switches.. also had a mate airbrush it before i painted it well cleared it.. then after sanding etcetc.. then clear. then after this i decided to give airbrushing a go myself and this is my first attempt hasn't been cleared though.. greenmac80 Posted August 7, 2011 Author Report Posted August 7, 2011 ok so here is the start of the boot anyone can do this kinda crap took me only 2hrs to get this far. welded in some braces to give some clearance for wiring and also will be adding in some bits to attach the floor to it to give the floor the strength back after cutting the wheel well out. obviously this is extreme for my case but for a stock boot jst use some mdf to space it up a bit. then make templates out of cardboard trace and cut... i wanted to do this in 2 pieces but i had no way of getting a sheet big enough home. so 3 pieces.. on its fixed + underlay+ carpet you'll never know.. the make more templates etc. i will be doing more on this during the week and i'll keep the pics coming.. once done it'll look pretty good.
