white_sandshoe Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 BAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! I love it! Where can i get some fully sik pistons like that? I mean, if you are going to something like that, at least get it properly machined... don't just drop a grinder on them and hope for the best. haha Quote
marksKE25 Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 (edited) Wish I was thats skilled. But here is the turbo for the pistons. url="http://www.mx6.com/forums/2g-mx6-forced-induction/194308-turbo-mod.html"]Turbo link[/url]smooth job, Edited December 27, 2009 by marksKE25 Quote
ke70dave Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 some dude in that thread suggested they were just taking the carbon deposits off. maybe they were, but prolly not the best idea to do it with an angle grinder. Quote
philbey Posted December 27, 2009 Report Posted December 27, 2009 If I were him I'd at least get the top of the pistons blasted to remove some of those nice stress concentrators! I will admit that I've made very minor mods to a piston dish with a grinder. Let me just say: Steam engine. Quote
