Evan G Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 very nice pick up is it me or do the gold centers don't suit the car? Quote
silverra23 Posted January 30, 2010 Report Posted January 30, 2010 I like them!! They would look even better against the brown of my AE71 :) Quote

Gavclassic Posted January 31, 2010 Author Report Posted January 31, 2010 very nice pick up is it me or do the gold centers don't suit the car? Actually have a set of 14 x 6.5 CSA 5 spokes getting painted in a charcoal colour which may go on. I've just done a run to Nowra and back this morning and still can't get over how good these cars are as a daily driver. Happily cruzed at 110 -120kph, had to drop back to 4th on long hills, $30 got me half a tank of Premium 98 which returned me 320kms which works out to be about 6.5lts per 100kms. The car was comfortable and handled good as well. Oh What A Feeling !! :) Quote

Dropz Posted January 31, 2010 Report Posted January 31, 2010 the other night i did a hills run with mates. half tank of 95 got me 120km. :) when i drove to melbourne 1 tank of 95 got me 400kms. when i do normal city driving a tank of 95 gets me 400kms. but i do have a 4 speed so its alot higher revving... does yours run smoother/get more economy on 98 than 95? mine feels the same, and it actually gets worse economy on 98 than it does on 95, I'm thinking its because i set the dwell angle, timing etc all on 95 fuel and not 98. also, love the meshies. i like the way they stand out. looks good against the car.
