Gavclassic Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 (edited) Well here's the latest purchase and yes it was the one advertised on this forum. I don't understand why no one else snapped it up ?, original 51,000kms, factory 5 speed and absolutely NO RUST!. Car drives like new even has the original Uniroyal SR78 tyres, drivers seat needs a small repair and there are a couple of small dents which i'm going to have the paintless dent man attend to and after a buff and polish all the original factory paint will come up a treat. Chobis Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 Didn't expect to see you posting up a kesev, however that is pretty darn nice. To keep or to move on.... that is the question. Quote
PMP020 Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 no wonder its so clean, its technically still a new car!! *cough only 20yrs old cough* :) nice score none the less. cheers, scott Quote
78_7kRolla Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 Nice pick up Gav. She appears to be in very good condition to start with i'm keen to see what you do with her. Best of luck. Matt. Quote
Gavclassic Posted December 19, 2009 Author Report Posted December 19, 2009 Nice pick up Gav. She appears to be in very good condition to start with i'm keen to see what you do with her. Best of luck. Matt. Original plan was to re shell the Khanacross car, will most likely just use the engine, drivers seat, gauges, drivers foot rest and a few suspension bits. I have a set of 15x7 Mesh Arial alloys or some, 14x6.0 Watanabees to go on. I won't be taking it for a squirt in the dirt though, most likely do a few track days when done. The blue KE70 is not very saleable in its current form, a registered track car is much easier to sell. Quote
TE278U Posted December 19, 2009 Report Posted December 19, 2009 sad i missed this one... :) It looks very nice, would be sad to see it ruined... Surely this one deserves to be preserved??? Quote
Funking-Awesome Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 Super nice 70 man...What did you pick it up for? Quote
lilke70 Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 keep the ke70 original, looks so nice Quote
Ben-89 Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 As abundant as these ke70's are, I'm suprised you didnt buy just a below average ke70 which appear to frequent this site and use that for kharnacross. Seriously let this one be the exception Gav. don't wreck or tear it apart. Please.. I really thought it would be in good hands. Quote
LukeAE71 Posted December 20, 2009 Report Posted December 20, 2009 ^^^^ turn it up :P This car is better in Gav's hands than some pre-pubescent teen who will want to fewly sic drift it brew :) Quote
Gavclassic Posted December 20, 2009 Author Report Posted December 20, 2009 Don't worry folks this one won't be seeing any dirt action. If i don't keep it 100% stock i'll be modifying it along the same lines as my red KE17 SL. Definately no chrome 17"s and a sub box, its all Old Skool for me ! :) Quote

corollaart Posted December 21, 2009 Report Posted December 21, 2009 Very nice pick up Gav ,you just wonder how many good ones there are lurking in sheds :) . Judging by your other cars id say its in save hands.(17 is brilliant) :P rob Quote
