Undertaker_is_the_best Posted July 28, 2010 Report Posted July 28, 2010 Yeah I considered painting a giant penis on it too.... lol that kinda reminds me of when tommygun had his ke71 and went on a cruise with some of the boys and they wanted or did draw a cock on his bonnet lol basically used it as a chalk board hahahaha Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted July 29, 2010 Author Report Posted July 29, 2010 Some pics, should of washed it but... naaa. Link to my album on Facewank if your interested. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=9255...mp;l=22d5169037 Wow my paint looks terrible. Gotta love those $4 spray cans. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted July 31, 2010 Author Report Posted July 31, 2010 Prepping for paint. Kinda liking the black and grey(faded shitty matt black cans) two tone look in the last pic on the rear quarter. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted August 7, 2010 Author Report Posted August 7, 2010 New front bar. Can really tell how shit the other one is now. I'll start getting stuck into prep work tomorrow or monday for paint. Spray putty a few nicks. Start stripping lights etc. Quote
Evan G Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 (edited) light blue/grey/black all in can :fuzz: in every pic the colour looks different  Edited August 7, 2010 by Evan G Quote
xmoht Posted August 7, 2010 Report Posted August 7, 2010 I think we're all aware of your love for the matte, are you going to do the proper matte black job this time or just touching up? Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted August 7, 2010 Author Report Posted August 7, 2010 Got 4 litres of GMH matt black. Plus got my mates compressor and 10 days off work. I'll never make the rattle can mistake again. Although it was only ever meant to be temporary spray can job for RWC. I would of painted it sooner but the guy I'm borrowing the compressor off hadn't used it and I didn't wanna mess up his virgin compressor. Great, another holiday where all I do is work on my car. (I love it) Quote

(I love it) Haha I bet you love it! This is going to be tops, can't wait for the photos. Will you just be taping everything up or doing a complete strip? Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted August 7, 2010 Author Report Posted August 7, 2010 Nah just a budget exterior strip (grill, lights, bumpers etc) Tape up the rest (chrome, door handles etc). May strip my interior plastics and paint them if I can be bothered. And I have to re hang the drivers door. And the passenger door behind it. Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted August 10, 2010 Author Report Posted August 10, 2010 Started painting but made the mistake of the compressor I'm using being far too small for the job. So it's tedious and turning out...well... I'm hoping after a wet sand it'll all even out. And yeah having no room in my garage is awesome too. I didn't really think this through. Live, you learn. Fingers crossed it turns out alright. A few other pics this is taking ages to upload. http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=4730...mp;id=518817878 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=4730...mp;id=518817878 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=4740...mp;id=518817878 http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?pid=4740...mp;id=518817878 Quote

B.L.Z.BUB Posted August 10, 2010 Author Report Posted August 10, 2010 (edited) Cheers mate It'd look a shit load better if I could paint for more than 20 seconds at a time... Edited August 10, 2010 by blzbub666 Quote
B.L.Z.BUB Posted August 11, 2010 Author Report Posted August 11, 2010 Ok so its done and back together. My first compressor job. Came out alright. Need to repaint the bumpers too. That straight front bumper makes a big difference. Fresh stockings on the tail lights  Needs more dish. Now I suppose I should stick the 32/36 on. Quote
67Rolla-Ken Posted August 11, 2010 Report Posted August 11, 2010 Looks good in the pics... not bad for a first go  Quote
