As long as its got a steering box it will have the correct threads on it all. use the tube and end, it screws onto the ke70 rack end and gives more strength and better adjustment. Also, you will be forced to recentre your steering rack or they wont fit. Hmmmm, so how do i recenter the steering rack?? Edited January 17, 2010 by ke71-rolla Quote
Falken_KE30 Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 (edited) all i did was take stock KE70 tierods off, if i remember correctly the KE70 ones are not adjustable at tierod end end, only towards the rack. Grab 2 KE30/55 tierod tubes (or crash tubes as some call em) and some RA40 Tie Rod ends. screw ends into tubes, then tubes onto rack, bolt tierods to steering arms, get a wheel alignment, do skidds  BTW, only do above if you put longer LCA's in, as i mentioned before. you wont have enough "safe" adjustment from the stock items. And also, RA40 tierod ends should be same as KE30/55. Edited January 18, 2010 by Falken_KE30 Quote

Falken_KE30 Posted January 18, 2010 Report Posted January 18, 2010 no worries and spirit, yeah ive always called em tie rod tubes. heard a few people call em crush tubes but i thought that was something to do with steering column. Quote
