I bought an 4" super cat cannon exhaust for my mates ke70, We've currently cut off the stock muffler box (and yes At the moment it sounds Mental :P) and was wondering if we should weld the new cannon to the stock old pipe?

Wrong way round Lexuskid-

Get a big pipe and a small muffler.

You can always change mufflers easily, but with a stock exhaust size you won't get flow gains.

Go get extractors & a larger pipe, then use a clamped joint to fit the muffler.

Then just keep changing mufflers until the cops stop harassing you!

Ohk, well I think that's the plan for when he gets some more money, I believe his planning to run a 2 1/2" pipe from the extractors back and then he really wants to attaching a dump pipe.

guys hes not asking about more power!!!

hes asking if its ok to weld the cannon to the straight pipe

now the answer is yes BUT you should have left the stock muffler box and just cut the pipe back so the cannon doesnt stick out too far

you are clearly after noise and you will defidently get it from welding it straight on now

hope i helped
