i have tried so much to get them off!

i've been scrubbing at them for ages.... i tried metho, goo remover, grease remover... i even tried with car wax.

either way, I'm screwed cos these stubborn marks aren't coming out. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.!

As a last resort, try acetone in SMALL amounts. Although by the looks of things, the glue has reacted with the paint over the years and stained it permanently...

Citrus based products will remove it if its pliable.

thanks guys, i reckon i might need to try the 2500 grit or finer sandpaper... but it does seem to have baked into the paint :D

i don't think petrol is worth a try because metho would have been the same? and acetone.. wont that like burn stright through the paint?
