G'day everyone,

Just introducing myself. I have owned a KE55 in the past as a bush basher, 330,000kms and still started after running no radiator for over an hour. After the fun I had in that, I decided I needed moar. Ultimately I'll be looking for a KE70 flat front to set up for offroad use, track days and if I can get a wagon or panel van, I'll be doing SPL competitions in it too. I'd like to try some tarmac drifting too. But really I'm looking for any corolla I can get my hands on :jamie:

 

I want to get the most out of the 4K while it's in there as I have a spare engine, clutch and 4 speed from the KE55 and might even try turbo as a friend of mine has had a lot of fun with a rodeo turbo on his 4K on a blowthrough setup.

 

My daily is a VX commodore and I do a stack of highway kilometeres in it so the corolla's going to be strictly for fun :yes:

 

EDIT: I should also add that I'm a professional car audio installer in Adelaide and I'll probably be lurking a lot in the car audio section, as I have already!

I did my first 4k turbo kit for around $400, although this did include a few donations of parts from mates for the cause (like the turbo itself) so its not hard to do cheaply. Click "tar" in my sig to see some pics of the dodgey old CT12 turbo setup. :jamie:
