Seen one of these conversions in Redcliffe (Brissy Northside) about 18 months ago, looked very stealth & bloody quick when it counted.

Cheers Ryan, sooooo helpful! :jamie:

Youve seen it dude so you know the stuffs all there ready to go

so i *hopefully* should find it fairly easy to do by myself,

I'm not planning to break any speed records, i just wanna get

both engines out and do some measurments. Apparently the

bonnet latch isnt gonna fit so I'm just gonna got the old 'lynch

pin lockdown!' Its probley gonna look try hardish but it has to

happen to have it down i guess.

Anyway, as promised, ill keep this topic updated as i go.

couldn,t you just drive the VH and figure out if its worth all the trouble, the weight of the cars would be very close so the outcome will be the same, diff ratios may help it take of better but its gonna rev at 100k

Yes a stock 202 isnt too exciting. It would be better than the VH, and a fun thing to do I guess as a project. You can always turn up the heat once you have a driving setup. Tune it up some.

i have seen two sleeper corona's in melb, getting around with v8's. the only thing noticable on one was the twin pipes out the back, went like hell

You should have no troubles with the gearbox. My mate has a 202 in his LX Torana coupled to a "Philipino" or "Torquemaster" gearbox, (which should be the box that came with the 4 cylinder you speak of).

hey guys i'm very new to this forum. BUT i was wondering how the corona 202 conversion went? I'm considering doing it myself and want to know what is involved in the conversion, like mounts, fans etc
