PHATKE20S Posted November 29, 2009 Report Posted November 29, 2009 (edited) Seen one of these conversions in Redcliffe (Brissy Northside) about 18 months ago, looked very stealth & bloody quick when it counted. Edited November 29, 2009 by PHATKE20S Quote

curly Posted December 7, 2009 Report Posted December 7, 2009 couldn,t you just drive the VH and figure out if its worth all the trouble, the weight of the cars would be very close so the outcome will be the same, diff ratios may help it take of better but its gonna rev at 100k Quote

It would be better than the VH, and a fun thing to do I guess as a project. You can always turn up the heat once you have a driving setup. Tune it up some. Quote

Tune it up some. i have seen two sleeper corona's in melb, getting around with v8's. the only thing noticable on one was the twin pipes out the back, went like hell Quote
Doogs Posted February 1, 2010 Report Posted February 1, 2010 You should have no troubles with the gearbox. My mate has a 202 in his LX Torana coupled to a "Philipino" or "Torquemaster" gearbox, (which should be the box that came with the 4 cylinder you speak of). Quote
jdonnoli Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 hey guys i'm very new to this forum. BUT i was wondering how the corona 202 conversion went? I'm considering doing it myself and want to know what is involved in the conversion, like mounts, fans etc Quote
LittleRedSpirit Posted August 13, 2012 Report Posted August 13, 2012 PM the dude, you may have a better chance. Quote
troyota Posted August 31, 2012 Report Posted August 31, 2012 I have seen a Holden 6 conversion done to this many years ago , anything can be achieved! Quote
decoop Posted December 14, 2012 Report Posted December 14, 2012 Found this on ebay a few weeks ago, xt130 with a 202 and trimatic. Looking at doing something similar myself for a bit of fun. Quote
orangeLJ Posted December 18, 2012 Report Posted December 18, 2012 If anyone is chasing bits or 202 advice give me a yell :) Quote
