I agree leeroy... Your commos going to need a bigger shed with the size of the motor your putting into it ... At least it will think it's big with the amount of power it puts out

Well, the 'goons off the road for a front end rebuild, it's time to go disks on the front and ford stud pattern for some more wheel choice, even if I do love the ones on it!

Once she's driving again it will be time to get the snail happening. Can't wait... But I have too :) I have to get the 11 built fir gor5!

Quick Q?

a mate of mine has an early disc front end laying around. stubs, discs, callipers etc. Would need a rebuild.

What are you going to upgrade with? The early discs aren't great with the solids but lets you keep the small pattern. Anything beats drums!

Boo.

Although drums don't cool as well and discs and are not as practical, they actually beat discs for braking power.

Our Dodge weighs near on 2 tons, has drums all round and will stop on a dime and give you 9 cents change.

theres 2 typees or early disc front ends.

VF had the solid discs you speak of. and like you said better than drums

VG had the same vented front discs as the VH, just with early pattern.

then of course theres the willwood / hoppers kits etc.

BUMP---- is this finished yet and making woooooooooooooosh yet jarrad?

Nice car, my old neighbour had a nice sedan valiant, they have a beautiful shape with lots of attention to detail, and that's what new cars lack now days.

I fell in love with a black valiant sedan, lowered on big chromes, beautifully restored inside, and sounded like it had a nice v8.

Would you consider dropping in a soarer v8 into it?

Yeah, a 1uz would be nice but they are just too wide to fit in the engine bay.

Cam, no more woosh! Well not for a while! I now have a blown corolla to keep me boost happy so that will do for now, don't think for a minute that the wagons being neglected though, I just swapped a 4bbl manifold for a runner 318 and auto! Will be tearing it down to build a 350 horse 318 to put in sometime, that should be fun enough!
