Mr Revhead[RL] Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 over 800 is normal... but doesnt really matter as thats not the point i missed the at the wheels bit on the 3k..... hmmm makes it even higher..... oh its NEXTEL CUP :D Quote
Super Jamie Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 i believe it's possible. if they can make 760kw out of a 3sgte, then you can make 165hp out a 3k. it just wouldn't last very long Quote
NickZ Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 Yeah a 150hp shot of NOS maybe do the trick :D Quote
TRD ke70 Posted June 29, 2005 Report Posted June 29, 2005 he said 165hp, but how much torque???? i'd be thinking f@$k ALL. Quote
Corolla_Kid Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 yeah i think this guy is dreaming id like to hope not but on a side note how much power do u think i rebuilt 5k with a cam and twin su's would make? Quote
Super Jamie Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 less than 165hp  realistically, ~120bhp Quote
Redwarf Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 Depends on the size of the SU's. My 1.5"s were stretched on my 3/4K, and it dyno'd at 82hpATW (116ish at the fly.) 120 is achievable with the right cam and head work. Quote
irokin Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 gee and i though my SR20 had power! gimme a 3K! ZOMG! Quote
kangaroosa Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 on a side note how much power do u think i rebuilt 5k with a cam and twin su's would make? i'll tell you tuesday night after mine comes off the dyno. ;)09 Quote

Redwarf Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 It's also been on another dyno that said it had 60 ATW. I like the top figure. Quote
TRD ke70 Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 (edited) yeh our figures were a little up and down, but we put that down to the alternator shitting it's self, explained the hi speed miss. still reckon there was something wrong with the dyno, the figures just don't add up. 82.6HP 440 ft/lb of torque ATW???? what do you think??? Redwarf Posted July 1, 2005 Report Posted July 1, 2005 What gear was it in when they took the figures? Quote
