altezzaclub Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 Soo.... Are you thinking of chatting to a casting company and having a run of 5 of them copied?? ..and maybe some Lynx manifolds cast up at the same time? I owned an Armstrong Siddeley Typhoon and was in at the start of that club in 1967. My dad got involved and ran the spares division, and ended up having all sorts of Armstrong stuff made and selling it worldwide through the various clubs. I'm sure we could do the same with 'rollas. I reckon you could sell 5 K-T bellhousings quite easily between here and AE86DC. Quote
LukeAE71 Posted January 3, 2010 Report Posted January 3, 2010 I'd buy one if they were say sub $200 each casted ;) Quote
Toy-Yoda[RL] Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 I'd buy one in a heartbeat, been looking for one for a while now...... Quote
white_sandshoe Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 Not a K-T, but I have got a K-W... I'm pretty sure it's cable from memory... Quote
SLO-030 Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 K-W50 are getting more and more common due to the amount of KR42R's getting stripped out. Quote
tojo2 Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 (edited) I'd buy one in a heartbeat, been looking for one for a while now...... There`s a Malaysian called "bullitt" advertising them on kp61.net for us$ 220 shipped worldwide. Had heaps available. Looks like hydro ones. Think he`s on the 3tc and ke70 forums as well ;) They can be bought new off the shelf in Finland as well, at a different price though. Edited January 4, 2010 by tojo2 Quote
Toy-Yoda[RL] Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 Legendary info Thank you kind sir, you've earned an internet, will contact this chap in the near future....... Quote
dfunkt Posted January 4, 2010 Report Posted January 4, 2010 K-W50 are getting more and more common due to the amount of KR42R's getting stripped out. The K-W bell in the KR42R is for the alloy-case W box, W55/56/57/58. The K-W bell from the KM20/30 is for the early steel-case W box, W40 and W50. Quote

I reckon you could sell 5 K-T bellhousings quite easily between here and AE86DC. I am thinking of floating this idea, but which type would people want? I will start a new thread and I am yet to talk to the forum admin about it, If it gets to a feasible point i will let all know. :jamie: Edited April 27, 2010 by Crostek Quote
