My Corolla Ke70 -83

Hello everybody! My name is Jyrki and I'm from Finland. I have corolla ke70 DX. The engine is 4K and the gearbox i have change fice gear K50 gearbox. Suspension is front Ford sierra front spring( i have shorten two and half round the spring), shock absorber are e9 corolla. Absorder assy i had shortened 40 millimeters. So front side are 80-90millimeters lower than original. Rear spring are little bit shortened. Front indicator lights are from BMW e30. Front spoiler are golf mk1. I changed the front seat corolla ae86 gt seat. Steering wheel is luisi.

 

Last winter corolla has little bit accident. An old lady drove on me. Then broke bonnet, bumber, right headlight and fender. Now i have fix it. New engine i`m thinking, suprice suprice, 4A-GE :) I olso have the gearbox, T50. And I buy the engine from a friend. Summer wheels are 14" x 7" Melber, ET10 whit 185/60 tires.

I had finally bought a new engine. It is 20 valve 4A-GE. And because it is front-wheel driven motor, so it is a little more work to install it in my car. I do not have the engine with the original ECU and cable series, so the engine control implemented megasquirt. The original distributor is removed and and take the ignition EDIS4. hey just replying bout my park lights, got them off ebay bout a year ago.

not sure if you have ebay in finland but most automotive parts shops should carry them these days if you don't.

Oh, thank you for this. I ordered a couple of times the elements of eBay. Those bright corner lens also look good. Where can like that could buy? I have not found them eBay

Little update. I changed the side mirrows older-stail.

Yesterday I will change prothanen total kits on the rear. On the right side other was little bit tight. And panhards bolt was also. But now they are exchanged. :wink: Noise increased significantly

 

 

The front should I still change them. Meaby next week, or..

 

Arrived on tuesday also ordered bellhousing. Now I can join T50 gearbox finally.

Last saturday I change front prothane kit. A huge change in driveability. I bought a nex rear axle, it is carina ta40 axcel. One day be able to put the Corolla ae86 gt LSD. Technical parts, I have gathered together. So hopefully soon to start its engine change. I still require gasoline pump.

Car looks very nice Jyly, the 2 doors are so neat.

 

I suppose having the brake booster by the exhaust will bring other problems we don't have.

Yes I know. Yes corolla`s enthusiasts in Finland is. My friend have 4 doors corolla, one of my friend is a corolla station wagon projects. Engine of change in 4A-GE, etc. We in Finland, almost all Corollas are two doors.
