Hey Champ.

I am in the middle of doing a conversion from a 4-AC to 4-AGE in an AE71 wagon as well. I am using an AE82 as the donor vehicle and am using the cable from it as it is longer than what was on the 4-AC. but it will depend I guess on where you have gotten your donor 4-AGE from. I had to take the bracket off and use only the rubber and two screws when mounting in the car though. Will have to wait and see if this will give me trouble. Currently modifying the exhaust manifold to fit and the standard throttle body on inlet manifold. Should be ready to fire at the end of the week!!

Cheers

If you're doing it in a AE71, use a KE70 cable as it is much longer and direct fit.

I would say the AE86 would be the same

It depends.

20v is perfect with a ke70 accelerator cable, not sure whats best for the 16valve. You can order new AE86 JDM throttle cable through castle hill toyota.

ke70 4k cable does the job, its abit too long but just loops around the mc and fits fine

the prefect fit is to get it custom made or JDM 4age ae86 one
