ke70 4ac Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 (edited) Hey, Just wondering what are the fatest tiers anyone has run on 14" ma61s on a A/KE.71/0 I'm running 185s atm but its time for some new ones and need to know what people recomend. I have the car at stock hight but do plan to lower later on not a huge amount. Edited November 12, 2009 by LittleRedSpirit Quote
Trev Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 You will pay over 200 each for anything bigger then 195's. Quote
Xany Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 (edited) ^^^^ trev i think thats just a little bit over-estimating unless theres a shortage of 14' tyres in the country, over $200 would just about get you semi slicks i would think. Bloody hell, when i bought my 14's a while ago they were only $110 a tyre for Yoko C drive's for 195's.....they can't have gone up that much. Edited November 12, 2009 by Xany Quote
ke70 4ac Posted November 12, 2009 Author Report Posted November 12, 2009 As far as i know 195s are still affordable and that 205s wont take the price up that much I'm just not sure if the rims will let me have anything bigger then 195s on the front rear looks as tho they could take alot more but i like to have the same size all the way around. anastasios Posted November 12, 2009 Report Posted November 12, 2009 I think it should be fine, go ask your tyre shop, they should be able to help you out, but why are you going for the 4wd look? Quote

Just because you are getting wider tyres, doesn't mean it will handle amazingly better. There is a sort of limit as to how wide you can go for how wide your rim is. 205 is probably a pretty good number. I wouldn't go much wider than that, otherwise you might start getting scrubbing issues. Quote
BlindKidSeeks Posted November 26, 2009 Report Posted November 26, 2009 185/60/14's for the stretched look on MA61's Quote
