Mr Revhead[RL] Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 yes i agree nick... if your drifting out, your not accelrating.. your wheelspinning... wheel spin = slow :D :D :D :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: :bash: Quote
Guest Rice^Canon Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 but if you can line up for the next corner quicker by drifting surely its fatser? Quote
demuire Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 if your drifting out, your not accelrating.. your wheelspinning... wheel spin = slow Not if you're driving a FWD car like a red AE92 seca. i'm serious there was a red AE92 seca got sidewayz at Toowong roundabout with a sticka on it. Whoze car it is? Maybe it was Nicks. You should ask him. And which sticker did you see? If you saw the one on the left (passenger) side then it probably said "I was once a treehouse", else you probably saw the other one "I lived in a cake"... I still recon the seca had nothing on the Mira. The Mira OWNS ALL!!! Quote
Guest Rice^Canon Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 it has the same rims as the AE92 seca I saw. who ownz it? Quote
Super Jamie Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 that race drivers have been using since they carried their own mechanics in the passenger seat hahahaha :D Quote
demuire Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 it has the same rims as the AE92 seca I saw. who ownz it? Really? Oh... Maybe it isn't Nick's then, Nick's has like 3 spoke things. No idea, dood, but if you find out can you post a photo of it doing the drift here!!! Quote
ancullen Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 Well that has to be the most begrudging RollaClub welcome I've ever heard. :D And as for drifting, I occasionally 'drift' our oil catch cans at work (see a pic of one below). I don't know if it counts as a proper drift, probably better resembles a handbrake turn. I just reef on the handle of the thing so it suddenly moves a bit quicker then I pull the thing around so it does about a 90-180 degree turn, usually leaving a bit of rubber on the concrete from the rear wheels. ancullen Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 NOTE: The handles on ours are on the same side as the pivoting wheels, not the ones that always stay straight. Quote
Teddy Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 LOL these few pages are such a crack up. BRO : I found your sic car its like ful sick, cep its got issues man DRIFTTTTTTTTTT :D Quote
Super Jamie Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 BAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHA *falls off chair* Quote
Redwarf Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 it has the same rims as the AE92 seca I saw. who ownz it? Tell me, why are you so interested in who "ownz" it? Quote
ancullen Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 Who wouldn't be interested in finding out who owns it? I mean, it's an AE92 Seca, it's not like there are many around. People will want to come and pay homage to the owner for having such a stand-out individual car!!! Quote
1G-GTE KE70 Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 And I can assure you that most all the other cars here can too :D some better than others :D but yeah felix I disagree about you saying drifting is slow. sure it may be slower than grip but it's definately far from slow. Quote
Redwarf Posted June 28, 2005 Report Posted June 28, 2005 (edited) The argument was about whether drifting was faster through a corner than than not drifting. The answer being no. It maybe far from slow, but it's also far from quick. Edited June 28, 2005 by Redwarf Quote
