Yes, you must be soooo old... My question is, how does a 10 year old have a 5 year old daughter? This is incredible, He has defied physics there, maybe he can defy physics on a racetrack too! NOW I GET IT! :drgrim: sometime people don't really use their head...but most of them use their butthead.... :) :) no hard feeling.. :drgrim: Quote
rjenman Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 I respect that in some situations drifting can be a good thing to do. Drifting is fun either way. I like driving in the wet very much. bye Quote
demuire Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 Drifting is fun either way. I like driving in the wet very much. amen  Quote
20V_KE35 Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 20v_ke35: It's just that when we want to drive fast, we don't drift cause it's slower :) t is not that i can't drift, it is just faster on the road without.at a motorkhana, then the fastest way is sideways...... which one is this???? rjenman:yeah, urs too  Quote
Redwarf Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 Drifting is fun, yes. Nobodys debating that. However, drifting is slow. End story. Quote
Redwarf Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 A motorkhana isn't drifting. A motorkhana is a motorkhana. Quote
Xany Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 hey rob.....the spam thread was probably little faster.... Quote
20V_KE35 Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 then the fastest way is sideways...... end of story.... u ask me but then u answer it ur self... Quote

Redwarf Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 (edited) Behold a motorkhana. The fastest way (but not always) to do one is sideways. This is, however, not drifting. Clicky here. For everyone else, watch for the yellow Datsun! Edited June 24, 2005 by Redwarf Quote
Felix Posted June 24, 2005 Author Report Posted June 24, 2005 hmmm..... a motorkhana track is only about 100m long by 100m wide (if that). runs take less than a minute, half the turns are tighter than uturns. cars with locked diffs and hydraulic handbrakes rule supreme.....nothing whatsoever like driving on the street. it was best described to me as "the thinking persons burnout competition". probably don't have many of these around where ur from, i'd say. Felix Posted June 24, 2005 Author Report Posted June 24, 2005 the little red ke25 rallycar in the motorkhana video Redwarf posted was his own. top run  Quote
TRD ke70 Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 well i've managed to read all of the shit about drifting been faster around a race track and all i can say is try drifting in a race and see where you end up. Quote
Redwarf Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 (edited) the little red ke25 rallycar in the motorkhana video Redwarf posted was his own. top run  I didn't mention it as I didn't think people would watch that far into it! Thanks Doug. I still like that yellow Datto though, it has MAJOR stick, suspension to die for, and someone to pedal it (usually). I should also add, that for all the noise and fun that it was, the time wasn't that great. Edited June 24, 2005 by Redwarf Quote
