20V_KE35 Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 .... And to think I've been doing it all wrong all these years. 80 years of Grand Prix, thousands of racing car drivers, all wrong. I hear Schumaker is in an AE86 next year. Solberg is coming out in a Skyline..... :) no, u guys.....take drifting as a new kind of sport. u can drift in f1 or nascar but in this race u must finish first place....must be fast not only in the track, corner, straight but in the pit stop as well. so u can drift in f1 rce but what the use if u keep changing tyre. imagine u at first place, drift, race pit stop..... start race 2nd place, corner, place 1st again, race, drfit, race, pit stop.... 2nd place again....and so on... got my point? demuire Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 Drifting is masturbation and grip driving is sex. Really? Bugger, I guess I'm better off staying single then  got my point? No, you're still misled. I think some of the circuit racing done in the UK is like 3 laps or something. REALLY short. You don't see them drifting... Quote
Mr Revhead[RL] Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 FRONT WHEEL DRIVE DRIFT!!!! I OWN YOU ALL  Quote

Jason Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005  With my driving experience talking the auto Prado round the block, i can still tell you that if you car is burning rubber you will have less pick up out of the corner, since your tires are still spinner. (looking from a scientific point of view rather than experience) but keeps going my Friends are getting a real kick out of this :) Quote

Felix Posted June 24, 2005 Author Report Posted June 24, 2005 (edited) it is not that i can't drift, it is just faster on the road without. at a motorkhana, then the fastest way is sideways...... Edited June 24, 2005 by Felix Quote
demuire Posted June 24, 2005 Report Posted June 24, 2005 20v_ke35: See, it's not that we can't drift (see, look even Felix can drift!!!). It's just that when we want to drive fast, we don't drift cause it's slower  Quote
