kangaroosa Posted November 2, 2009 Report Posted November 2, 2009 Why not just use an R31 Skyline diff. Can get LSD centres and your PCD will remain the same. The RX diff thread sounds familiar. I remember them being not worth the hassle as they arent the strongest/best option for the amount of rooting around. Quote
manual Posted November 3, 2009 Report Posted November 3, 2009 I find this amusing as i just got a hilux diff that had been modded to fit a KE30 that i will be using in an 808 :( sorry i can't help with your problem ... but i got a chuckle :) Quote

curly Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 if it helps our jig for 808 mazda and ke30 ke55 is exactly the same, same pin to pin, same pinion angle and they are just as weak as the other Quote

parrot Posted November 4, 2009 Report Posted November 4, 2009 Well it's like this, there are Toyota people and then there are mazda people. Not sure where that puts KE11restorer as he likes both. Quote
manual Posted November 6, 2009 Report Posted November 6, 2009 if it helps our jig for 808 mazda and ke30 ke55 is exactly the same, same pin to pin, same pinion angle and they are just as weak as the other pin to pin? can't happen to tell me if the spring mounts are the same distance apart? i will find out sooner or later ... but thought i might ask. The diff gets located on the leaf spring by a pin/locator. Thats what he's talking about. So the spacing of the leaf springs are the same. Quote

Taz_Rx Posted November 10, 2009 Report Posted November 10, 2009 808/rx3 diffs are just as tiny as a ke30/55 one. So yeah, forget it. Well it's like this, there are Toyota people and then there are mazda people. Not sure where that puts KE11restorer as he likes both. The RX bit in my username doesn't come from my passion for corollas! .....although I would prefer not to be lumped in the same basket as him. Quote
