LXY-642 Posted November 27, 2010 Report Posted November 27, 2010 went to my cousin's house, car is still untouched :( good news is that he has to clean out the garage this weekend, and only has 6 months till the lease runs out, so he kinda has to get his arse moving on the rolla. hopefully i can have it finished regoed and driveable by 7 months time when i get my license back. LXY-642 Posted December 17, 2010 Report Posted December 17, 2010 just got off the phone to my cousin. front end is now in undercoat. :) Quote

LXY-642 Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Would anyone else agree that this would be the worlds slowest paint job? Quote
BUZ440 Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Would anyone else agree that this would be the worlds slowest paint job? for what you are using the car for yes, I'm sure you will get their mate and will be all worth it Quote
LXY-642 Posted March 7, 2011 Report Posted March 7, 2011 Well trying to currently organize getting my money back in one form or another ATM. And getting the car to my garage. Considering my sr20 is also in my garage. Quote
LXY-642 Posted March 10, 2011 Report Posted March 10, 2011 talk to jamie today or tomorrow to discuss an agreement. i'm getting the wagon to my place one way or another. just hope he actually shows up today or tomorrow, most times his a pain to get a hold of. Quote
LXY-642 Posted April 15, 2011 Report Posted April 15, 2011 agreement has been aranged finally, but now he has stopped talking to me when i try and get a hold of him to go there and start picking things up there is no answer to phone calls or replies to text's and it's not often i can get over there. vl is ment to go this sunday which means i'll have room for the car here. atm all i wanna do is throw it back together and take it to winton for fun day's. after i buy a house i'll start thinking on what to do to it. be easier to decide when i can drive and see what i would rather. another thought is just selling the car. LXY-642 Posted April 30, 2011 Report Posted April 30, 2011 Could anyone tell me how much it would roughly cost to get a diff shortened and a tail shaft made up? Or recommend a place to call up to get a price? This car has to be finished to at least stage one by 5 months time so that I can take it to performance car mania in September. Quote
LXY-642 Posted May 5, 2011 Report Posted May 5, 2011 Diff is lined up now. Get it tonight and possibly the gearbox also. Just waiting for the price on the motor with everything to have it running. If the price is right may possibly even have it tonight to :) Then all I gotta do is get the car back to my place. Get the new diff shortened and drop the motor and box in. Already got a lift pump here. So grab a surge tank and an inline pump to sort out fuel. Then get the bastard running lol Quote
LXY-642 Posted May 9, 2011 Report Posted May 9, 2011 for sale :( http://www.rollaclub.com/board/topic/51173-fs-1977-ke36-wagon/ Quote
LXY-642 Posted June 5, 2011 Report Posted June 5, 2011 Well I've finally got this car home. So now to decide if to continue to sell. Scrap it. Or finish it. Quote
abbott Posted June 5, 2011 Report Posted June 5, 2011 Finish it man. Don't let another rolla go to waste and chances are whoever buys it for 300 will end up scraping it! Quote
LXY-642 Posted June 5, 2011 Report Posted June 5, 2011 Just Realised before that I don't have the castor arms here :( so just getting the corolla struts back onto the crossmember for now. Cutting down the Vl springs to suit as I'm missing a corolla spring and don't want to fit the pedders springs. Thoughts in mind ATM are either selling both rolla's and buying an Ef fairmont v8 wagon. Or doing the ke36 as a skid or circuit car on the cheap. I've still got an rb30 laying around ;) lol. And well the ke20's plans are never going to change. Even if the 20 sells I'll still do the same plans later on with another 20. So hate being tight on money :( Quote
