Undertaker_is_the_best Posted April 18, 2010 Author Report Posted April 18, 2010 (edited) well i did a bit more work one the body i am giving it a few coats of high filler primer and well i wasnt totally happy with the first coat i did back a few months ago so i sanded it back lightly and decided i want to try and get as many imprefection out as possible cause i don't want to ruin the paint job and it is my first job with a proper gun and compressor the other day i high filled the guards and sanded them lightly and added the grey primer coat and both guards are no ready for the green when i get around to sourcing the paint that is PS: i know about the small dint in the guard but its not the going the most perfect job even thou thats sometimes what we strive for and well i do kinda have a time frame and want it on the road asap lol Edited April 18, 2010 by Undertaker_is_the_best Quote

MattyZ Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 managed to get home from work early today and well i guess did some work to the body again more primer filler lol and will upload pics when i get a chance just curious what are your overall plans for this like, suspension, running gear, interior etc keep up the work Quote
greenmac80 Posted April 20, 2010 Report Posted April 20, 2010 well the atomic is a clear on base thing. so for the basecoat its quite transluscent. for my 55 we used 3 litres just for the outside. so for inside and out perhaps get 4-5 litres? that will mix up to 8-10litres with the 1:1 mixing ratio. also if you were to use a silver basecoat before it'll cover more easily and make the colour 'Pop' Quote
