well on friday it was a great day for the first half the second half i had to visit the dentist to get 2 teeth removed but when i came back justin aka SLW42 was around just before i went and he help me with a timing problem with the car at first the weber that i got with the car wasnt working properly and so he and another mate that turned up both decided to put the standard carby that comes form a 2 or 3t motor on there and they soon had the beast fired up and working like a charm well done to them guys so now its just a bit of body work and paint and interior and new exhaust then little odds and ends and presto it should be with reach of been on the road in the near future lol

they are 14 x 5 or 6 i belive and yea i will be using them aye i wanted a set since i saw some on my mates car and they look wicked just waiting to put tyres on them

super slow progress on this project due to other things interfering but it still runs well i am going to attack the little body work that needs to be done and then hopefully painting the new one

 

as for the other celica the original one that is now going be a track car well nothing much has happened to that except it is slowly been put back together with stock stuff and then i will eventually pull the motor and box out and start making my way towards the next engine conversion that will take place

small update the car is now getting the very minor rust work fixed and well today i cleaned and sprayed inside the boot looking quite good

 

must admit i have been quite busy lately so this thing is only making slow progress but it all worth it in the end

people have to watch this thread soon as there will be pictures coming up with the car beening painted finally choosen a colour and it looks nice against the white primer that the car had then once it is painted i will start on the interior and re-installation of the parts i will post pics really soon

well the celica has had little progress over the last month or so and mainly been doing paint and body work its slowly coming together
