Can nitrous be ran on a hi comp engine ?

Looking at the 60 thou over shot peen the rods then a 50- hp shot of nos with completly built head and cam.

Twin squish head off a 4K-E with 4a pistons and rods. Could also run 4agze pistons and a bit of boost.

 

If you don't deck the block as Love KE70 said good low CR for boost but shit CC design.

 

Also 2 types of after market "dished" pistons exist for a 5K shallow and deep.

If i decided i want bosst ill be going the sr20 option which seems to look better and better everydayBut if i do this ill got to a ksev

but as i said id love to keep it k engine in the 55

Sure can. Think of adding NO2 just like increasing the octane rating of your fuel, so you can do it to basically to any motor.

why would you upgrade to a ke70 if you were going to go sr20det? they are also have a 4k? do you mean ae71?

Not any more Cam. ACL used to do the 22cc dish as well as the 9cc Dish but no longer make the 22cc one. Unless you can find a set you're constrained to the 9cc item only.

 

They are Mahle pistons supplied by ACL. Precision Int'l don't do them for 5k's.

 

Your limits will block strength as you start going massive bore sizes and thin things out significantly. With a 20 year old corroded water jacket you'd want to be cautious.
