phat_20 Posted May 9, 2010 Author Report Posted May 9, 2010 Alright, Just started on the interior this week. Got some Mazda Astina SP seats front and rear. The front rails bolted on with small amount of modifications. The rear needs a fair bit of mods which includes cutting the metal frame on the top parts and remolding the bottom part. Door trims have also been started. I'm eager to get the interior finished over the next month. Pics are bad quality from my phone. Mi camera is f@cked. Quote
phat_20 Posted August 26, 2010 Author Report Posted August 26, 2010 Been a bit lazy through the winter but just a bit more work on the interior. Just finished molding the front door pods and door trims. Gotta pull my finger out and trim everything. Quote
jaygore Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 Loving the height of the rear, makes me realise that my car is sitting way to high haha! But loving the car :jamie: Quote
phat_20 Posted October 25, 2010 Author Report Posted October 25, 2010 Been a while since an update. I've been cleaning up the rear, suspension back to standard height and replacing the locker with a standard centre ready for blue slip/rego. I decided to paint the diff housing, leafs and under body of the car and change the rear bushes. Looks really neat now. I couldn't find any replacement rear shocks. What is everybody using for shocks? Quote
phat_20 Posted October 25, 2010 Author Report Posted October 25, 2010 Finally pissed of the aisan carb that was running like crap and installed a 32/36 weber. Its running heaps smoother now, although I was worried the weber would be too large for the 4K. Made an adapter linkage for the weber by hacking the original throttle link off the aisan hence keeping the original accelerator cable. I step closer to the 4K-T.... Quote

phat_20 Posted October 27, 2010 Author Report Posted October 27, 2010 TRD Shocks sound pretty cool. Who distributes them is Aus? Update: Started some cabling in the drivers door and installed all the rubbers, glass and Central door locking. Quote
