So my dad has just won these wheels from an ebay auction.

4 x 114.3 pcd

Suits Silvia or similar

Light weight aluminium

2 piece racing wheels

Mclaren international brand

Very good condition

 

Hopefully a picture is below.

 

Has anyone seen/ had these wheels before? How easy to find/ expensive would tyres be for these size wheels? (to go on a ke55)

tyres are easy, it depends on the offset of the rim if it will fit, i don't think they will really suit

yeh, from the pic it doesnt look like they have much dish (so that would mean the have a - offset?)

 

The style seems a bit questionable too, but for $50 they should be usefull for something

they will not suit a corolla. old corollas need negative offset 13-14's

 

although if its going to be used for a race car, 16s might have better performance tyre choice if they do fit.

oh not really in regards to racing, you can find good 15in rubber etc, also old corollas do not need negative offset, those rims look like they have positive offset, you will probably need spacers

well i was more referring to suiting in terms of style. they might fit on but they shouldn't be there.

 

EDIT: unless they are extremely light and its for racing.

If they're "to suit silvia etc" then they're a FWD offset wheel (+38/+42). Won't fit a '55 without bolt on spacers. :S

i think only fully hektik silvias have positive offset. nice silvias have neg offset 15s

 

 

but you are right you can tell those wheels are mega positive offset,
