I'm currently looking at getting multispoke/mesh deep dished mags for it, so if anyone has anything please let me know

I'm considering putting a turbo of some description in it, if anyone has any advice on such matters it would be VERY much appreciated

thanks guys and girls

What are the mods that your mate did to it? Howso do you not agree with them, lol!

If you were going to do some spending on making it go harder an engine conversion would be the way to go... I'm not too familiar with

the Corona's, but what model engine does it have, Luke? There are probably a few VERY effective bolt in/small work options available for you!

EDIT: Mods like the giant Toyota sticker on the windscreen? :) lol

ahahhah!

yes exactly! and the big 'f@$k-off' twin cannons makes it sound ridiculous! haha I'm not a fan of the dip spoiler or the stickers, but they may come off soon ahah!

to tell the truth i really have no f@$king idea what the engine number is but its a stock 2.0 ltr :y: i will have a look soon when i service the girl, which should be interesting as i don't have any idea how to work on it :D ahha ill have a look into some engine replacements, but its got a very nice engine in atm so would be a shame to waste it :) lol

thanks for the kind words and the warm welcomes!

cheers Luke

ah, you're punchy's mate?

I saw he commented on a photo of the corona on facebook...

Mesh will suit it well, i assume they are 4x114.3 - If so, there

are a fair bit of mesh rims for sale atm. Check out the for sale

thread.

Make sure they have good offset so you can fill the guards. The

guards on these things are so big!

Welcome Lukey.

the engine in question would be the might 2S-C.

Pretty sure you can bolt most of the 2S stuff onto a 3S. bellhousing, sump, oil pick up, etc. Not sure on all the fine details but I'm sure there are a few here that are.

nice buddy, your not the only one here with a corona. I have the even older model corona, RT132 liftback and is running a 3T-GTE thats all engineered and regency approved, very fun thing. Enjoy your corona holmes. :lolcry:

the might rona lives on ahah

is your car listed in your rides section, i wanna check it outt! ill justn have a look myself :lolcry:

any tips and ideas on the corona would be appreciated :lolcry:

Oh, haha, I never replied because I am not looking to get the motor regency approved - too much work and money. Meshies are kinda expensive... And as to whitewalls being defectable - i would say it's a very very very rare chance. I've had whitewalls on my cars and when being looked over by the cops not a word is said. You'll be right... do it anyway :lolcry:

hey guys, the rona has started to back fire just this week

in the beginning i thought the clutch/gears were slipping, but with closer inspection i suspect its JUST backfiring, (lets f@$king hope) i know this could mean a number of things either the carby, fuel line, flooding, or worst case scenerio (as far as I'm aware) the DIFF

if anyone could shed some light on my situation with a rough estimate on prices for each repair, or a good mechanic in the inner south area (glenelg) thanks a heap guys

i had heard that slipping and backfiring may mean diff but i wondered how on earth how,

today i bought a new distributor cap, petrol system/carby cleaner ointment, will try new plugs and air filter tomorrow,

if i can get her running well ill bring her out to the cruise this weekend
