spongebob101 Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 i have just brought a ke70 for 200 dollars lisence but blown head i took the head off and got it all checked and it was corroded and i got that all welded up an ive put the head all back on and it started the 1st time but i now have oil leaking all ova the spark plugs what would cause that. thanks for your help Quote

altezzaclub Posted October 18, 2009 Report Posted October 18, 2009 Are the o-rings still around the spark plug cups? ..and are they seating under the plugs in good condition? The only other places would be from the tappet cover gasket or the vent on top of it, but the spark plug cups are the most likely culprits. Quote
spongebob101 Posted October 19, 2009 Author Report Posted October 19, 2009 well i found that when i got the head all checked there was corosion in where the spark plug cups go but i got that all welded an machined but i still dnt no how it would get past the spark plug and on the tip because of the thread an the crush washer on the sparkplug itself its so confusing i took the plugs out and put some silicone around the bottom of the cups an just gotta wait for it to dry and try it like that if that doesnt work ill have to get new cups for it try that an if that still doesnt work then ill have to take the head off again and take it bk to where i got it machined. :) Quote

spongebob101 Posted October 20, 2009 Author Report Posted October 20, 2009 k so i siliconed the cups and its kinda stoped it but now its only running on number 2 an 3 cylinders 1 an 4 have to spark and ive swapped plugs round in still not doin nethin, would this b something to do with the feul and air mixture or what I'm so confused :) thanks for every1s help :D Quote
