ae95- wagon kid Posted October 14, 2009 Author Report Posted October 14, 2009 so does anybody know anything about suspension for this car i need heavy springs and good shocks that will take a beating Quote
SLO-030 Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 Best bet is to go down and see the guys at Industrial springs. have a talk to them about what you want to do with the car and they should be able to sort you out with something. Details for Industrial Springs is in the recommended list in the SA regional forum. Quote
Instigator Posted October 14, 2009 Report Posted October 14, 2009 (edited) Don't be weak do a conversion :jamie: I put a Silvertop 20v in mine  Suspension wise there are the usual options Sleeve kit coilovers - http://www.otomoto.com.au/HDSystems/sleevekits.htm Whatever dampers you want to run. Camber tops if you want them. Strut brace Nolathane bushes all around. Depends what you want to do with the car really. My stock suspension is pretty stuffed. I can stand on the towball and bounce it to the bump stops (73kgs) so will be getting new short stroke shocks and springs to suit eventually. At a guess I would suggest maybe 8/6kg spring rates? Best of speaking to a decent well known suspension shop especially if you're not keen on doing the work yourself. Pedders will may have no bulls but they know how to charge like them as they're trading off the name. $1400 is not massive price but is for bottom of the range Pedders gear.
