Felix Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 Did you reset the valve clearances? Quote

kiahn Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 if you have snapped a head bolt that would alow for low compression, what do you mean by NO compression?? you will want to get that head bolt sorted out before you do anything else but as stated make sure your valve clearances are set to specs and wouldnt hurt to reface the valves while the head is out Quote

KENut Posted October 12, 2009 Report Posted October 12, 2009 As Felix says, valve clearances. Valves are probably open non stop. My 4K has a snapped head bolt and its fine. (Bought it like that) What you need is a set of feeler gauges, your manual, a flathead screwdriver and a 12mm ring spanner. Quote
