Trev Posted October 2, 2009 Report Posted October 2, 2009 I was doing some research myself the other day on cut and shut manifolds and noticed that when this is performed the pcv into the intake is blocked off as they run through the manifold and out into the throttle body. This means that the engine will not be venting unless you have a vented catch can or have stupidly drill a hole through the pipe and into the manifold. Quote
kiahn Posted October 3, 2009 Report Posted October 3, 2009 thats correct, ive heard that if your really good with drills and welding then drilling the hole is easy Quote

wezksev Posted March 6, 2010 Report Posted March 6, 2010 i have heard u can run a pipe from the rocker breather and join it inside ur intake piping before the t/b and after the filter Quote
Adzy Posted March 14, 2010 Report Posted March 14, 2010 (edited) i don't know a lot about this kind of stuff but is this throttle body conversion similar to what your talking about. the small photo of the underside of the throttle body there is some metal cut away. just ignore me if its not. (might have to register to view it) http://www.twincam.info/index.php?showtopic=42350 Edited March 14, 2010 by Adzy Quote
enroh Posted March 16, 2010 Report Posted March 16, 2010 Or run your catchcan outlet infront of the filter.. Quote
