Tiger Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 Ah well, I still like them :) So I'll stick to them. And I put them in the 2 Pack Tiger Mica background :D
ae71neo Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 i want a HUD on the windscreen :) Well thats already been done, to a certain extent. S13 silvias were available with a heads up of the speed.
Valandor Posted June 22, 2005 Author Report Posted June 22, 2005 here ya go a link for HUD kit look like if you want everything its about $1 grand or for just speed its about $400
Jason Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 omg why haven't i herd of this ! :) weres the link?
ancullen Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 My gauge surround is going to be a bit of blue-ish coloured plastic that used to be part of a flare kit for a Prado (the bit that runs along the bottom of the door). Ah, I'm going to miss scabbing things from work.
dysolve Posted June 22, 2005 Report Posted June 22, 2005 just try and find a writen off SSS bluebird they had HUD.. i want the dash out of a VK calais... really old school digital..If you want to put the bluebird HUD in a rolla you will have to at least buy a little bit of window tint to put on the windscreen.
ancullen Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 Nah, classic style gauges would do me (eg. Smiths). But some are SOOO expensive. For all my birthdays & Christmas's from now on I think I'm just going to ask for Corolla bits!
Tiger Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 EH! I'm still stick to my new-school Cobalts as attached earlier
ancullen Posted June 23, 2005 Report Posted June 23, 2005 I must say I did rather like those Cobalts. When I said I prefer old-school style gauges I meant I prefer them over the 80's style digital look ala Nissan Bluebird SSS or VL Calais.
TRD ke70 Posted July 2, 2005 Report Posted July 2, 2005 i think this should be added to the Wiki. one of the best ideas i've seen.
Super Jamie Posted July 2, 2005 Report Posted July 2, 2005 isn't it just white paint and black stickers? i've been saying that for years :P
Teddy Posted July 2, 2005 Report Posted July 2, 2005 origional gauge face scanned, edited, changed around, printed out, then stuck onto face. Alot of hours work, getting it all to line up and look square n professional :P
