jeffro Posted October 1, 2009 Author Report Posted October 1, 2009 na i am in brisbane.... there is a front sump option for the motor but it is rare as dogs balls to find unfortunately i am putting an 18r in it but i have a middle sump motor which i don't think will fit so i need a front sump from an early 18r corona to work but that is impossible to find so i will need to sort out my other options i know its a crazy conversion but i have had it laying around for years and it is worked and is costing me nothing.. also have the gearbox to. it went hard in my old ra40 so should go well in the ke30 :) Quote

jeffro Posted October 4, 2009 Author Report Posted October 4, 2009 yeah all the 18r celicas have middle sump unfortunately thats why its so difficult front sumps are rare as for these things yeah will need another oil pick up for it to..... actually i might be able to get another sump and pick to modify that way i wont wreck the one i have:) can get a xmember if needed to, hopefully he would let me pull it out hehe if that will be the case Quote

NorthCoast_Rolla Posted December 2, 2009 Report Posted December 2, 2009 something I'm not exact on but i think that early hilux motors have th same bottom end as the 18-r motor its just the head thats different, I'm currently putting an 18rg motor into my ke30 and it has a front sump off an early model 2wd hilux:) Quote
